What is BIONIC-FINISH®ECO?
BIONIC-FINISH®ECO was developed by RUDOLF GROUP and is the latest technology for treating products in an environmentally friendly way to make them water-repellent by imitating nature. The key to this technology lies in a hyperbranched, water-repellent polymer with branched structures, like tree crowns, which crystallise on a specifically adapted copolymer.
In addition to imitating nature’s water-repellent structures, BIONIC-FINISH®ECO also provides water repellency without containing fluorocarbon – just as in nature. This environmentally friendly solution does not release organofluorine compounds into the atmosphere, thereby helping to ensure a better future for the environment and for you.
When you buy a DOGSOME® product treated with BIONIC-FINISH®ECO, you can be sure that it is made from materials free from hazardous substances such as fluorocarbon or formaldehyde. Nevertheless, BIONIC-FINISH®ECO retains its excellent water-repellent properties while still offering good breathability.
